STYLUS.INC, the fashion society of Delhi College Of Arts And Commerce is one of the top-notch cultural societies of Delhi University that has been redefining its strengths every year by becoming a brand itself. Our society strives to build a cadre of confident models and highly creative designers and make-up artists, each one excelling in their respective fields. Our society follows a discipline of working with a vision. So, it was mutually decided by the entire team to identify this cultural society with real problems of Indian society. "Hype for all type: breaking stereotypes" the main theme we followed this year. Luckily, we made a successful attempt at educating people about the issue of 'non-acceptance' but through a different medium. Since we assimilate the best combinations of practical experience and theoretical knowledge, our society has fiercely participated in different colleges and celebrated few victories, be it the IIT Fest Parivartan where we stood the second runner up or winning the Best Male Model (Yaduraj Singh Rathore) at Hindu College fest Mecca.
Stylus.inc has participated in the fashion show of various colleges like Kalindi College, Kamla Nehru College, Northcap University, Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hindu College, Satyawati College, IIT, IIFT, JIMS- Rohini, Bharati College, Shiv Nadar University. The society is not only participating in a fashion show but have been participating in various Graffiti Competitions and Face Painting Competitions.
The society had organized an independent fashion show at the Annual Cultural Fest called "Adaah" with a theme that celebrates valentine's day. From judges, who had the 'eyes for originality‘, to the societies that had participated enthusiastically, the show was a huge success. Adding to the list, we also participated actively in the annual cultural fest of DCAC, Panghat. Finally, we succeeded in becoming a treat and not a trick to all the trendsetters. Further, the society wishes to acknowledge upcoming events and learning experiences associated with those events.
